We are back with another post that took me way out of my comfort zone. Last time I took control of my fear of wearing shorts if you haven’t seen that post check it out now Out Of My Comfort Zone . It’s nearing the end of Summer so I thought why not show you guys the affordable swimsuits I recently purchased to end the summer with a bang! I never thought I would be brave enough to wear a swimsuit in public yet here I am putting it all on the internet haha! Due to body confidence issues I’ve never been that into wearing swimsuits but hey this year is all about taking on what we are scared to do so I bit the bullet and I’m laying it out for you beautiful people.
Nude is a color that is forever a YES! I really wanted to find a nude swimsuit and this is the one I found that I absolutely loved. There is one thing I could do without, that’s the long tie I could wrap around me about thirty times LOL but for the price it was worth it and after all it does give a little bit of shape if you don’t have it so I guess it’s not all that bad. I did however feel like something was missing so I purchased these sew-on rhinestones from amazon and in my opinion it made it POP.
The swimsuit was $12.98 and the sew-on stones were $7.10.
Next, we have this off the shoulder two-piece red swimsuit which is my favorite. Any off the shoulder anything instantly gives the item a bit of sexiness plus I kind of like my shoulders, I know that probably sounds crazy. The one thing I disliked about the swimsuit was the fact that the top didn’t have any bra cups so I went ahead and installed them myself ( bra cups can be purchased from any fabric store or online for cheap).
This swimsuit was ONLY $9.99
Last but not least we have this last-minute gem. By the time I had found this swimsuit I was ready to give up but I’m so glad my little bit of patience helped me to hold on. I guess finding a white two-piece with a little umph is difficult. The one thing that drew me in to this particular two-piece was the cute little bows on the arm straps, it’s completely out of style for me but it called my name and I answered.
This white two-piece was $14.99
I highly suggest searching Amazon for inexpensive swimsuit finds because most stores give you separate prices for two-piece swimwear, also you will find a larger variety on Amazon.
One thing I learned about wearing swimsuits was to just let it be! Everything on us isn’t perfect and it never will be. We will always find something about ourselves that we dislike. The amount of bravery it takes to love everything we have as is, is a bit terrifying but it feels so good once we get over it. After all most men could care less if their bellies are toned or not so we should embrace what we have just as they have and love ourselves just as we are. Give the middle finger to those unreal standards!
