The Academy Awards also known as the Oscars have been in the news quite a bit this year. They have dealt with the trouble of trying to find a host which ultimately led to them going hostless for the first time! But, as always the show must go on! Last night the 91st annual Oscars took place.
The Oscars might be at it’s 91st show but that didn’t stop the fashion from being up to date and as glam as ever. Seeing a theme of pinks and some elegant throwbacks to old Hollywood glam, the stars didn’t hold back this year.
So we have to ask, which stars from the 2019 Oscars red carpet made the cut for best dressed stars of the evening?

I’ll admit I didn’t watch the show but I have looked at all the outfits today nonstop. Constance Wu, Kelly Ripa and Billy Porter make my best dressed list!

My favourite would have to be that detailed, stunning Ellie Saab dresses. She has to be one of my favourite designers, her dresses are to die for. And she pulled it off so well! And after that, I suppose JLo in Tom Ford, but I’m a bit bored with it because it’s nothing we haven’t seen before!

Great post! Loved watching the show. So many interesting looks this year. I really loved the pinks, especially on Angela Bassett and Kiki Layne (the cut of her dress!!). And then there was J Lo who looked so glam (how much did that dress weigh??!). Totally enjoyable!
